I have a Cloudray 50w Raycus and am attempting to run a 3d slice grayscale image to make a 2.5d brass coin.
When I attempt to fire the laser nothing happens (but lightburn believes the laser is firing.) I am thinking this is because my laser doesnt fire at less than 10% power, but I am unable to change the minimum power set at 5% (it is grayed out).
Anyone have any ideas?
A fiber should fire at low power levels, but your power level is set to 90%?
I don’t see a minimum power and as far as I know, a minimum power setting is not available with a galvo fiber. Can you post a screenshot of where this is displayed?
The most common problem with these are improper focus. The shorter the lens the more critical proper focus it… Are you absolutely sure it’s focused correctly?
