New Cloudray Mopa laser, everything installed correctly, but laser will not switch on after framing. Always get Busy signal. Tried 2 seperate cables and both seperate ports on laptop. Nothing helps. zero ideas to get it running now.
More than likely your mac is connecting to cu.bluetooth?
On the laser panel, confirm in the dropdown you are connecting to the correct port?
And if its present in the list
I just looked, I didn’t even know my Bluetooth was switched on in my Mac.
OMG I hope its an easy fix like that. I don’t really know how to check what the correct port is? It just gives me 2 options “Auto” and another one is the laser list, but have tried them both but same non laser firering outcome. I’m away at work for the next 3 weeks, as soon as I’m home I’ll try with bluetooth off. thanks heaps mate for your suggestions. like worse case scenario, I’ll have to plug in a Window PC and see if that does the job. Atleast then I’d know it’s def a problem between my MacBook and Laser.
If you havea a M1 mac it will be extreamly picky on how it sees the machine
A dumbest USB 2.0 USBc to USB A hub would help imensly
You can however do this
Open a terminal
Power ON machine and plug it to Mac
Make sure - if prompted, you accept the external device connection little window
in terminal type
ioreg -p IOUSB
Press enter
Screenshot or copy/paste the output
