LaserGRBL cuts, Lightburn doesn't

New to Laser hobby, Have a new Atomstack A5 M50. I’ve successfully run the LaserGRBL cutting test. with 3mm birch plywood with best result settings at speed F450, power S1000, and 5 passes. Using trial version of Lightburn, I have so far been unable to successfully cut same material (in fact, same test board), using the Material Test setup. Power set to 100%, speed ranges from 200 to 500, and up to 8 passes. There must be a setting I am missing? Is the laser not getting the full 100% power setting? I.E. I am not seeing the equivalent of setting “S” to 1000. Otherwise, I really like Lightburn and its UI and features. Planning on purchasing IF I can resolve this cutting issue.

Thanks in advance.

Your set to mm/min in settings and s-value of 1000 in your device settings?

Here is a screen shot of the Lightburn test…

Are there other settings I have missed?

Hmmm - Just noticed S Value max is set to 255! I suspect THAT is my issue!!!
