Just in case anyone is curious, I just did some test cut comparisons between the 20W and 30W lasers for my machine.
All cuts performed at 100% power, speed varied from 100 up to 1200 mm/m. Cuts done on 1/8" and 1/4" thick plywood. Below by cleanly I mean, it made the cut all the way through, not that there isn’t any charring.

20w cut cleanly through from 100 to 500 mm/m, almost made it through at 600 mm/m
30W cut cleanly through from 100 to 900 mm/m

20w cut cleanly through only at 100 mm/m
30w cut cleanly through from 100 to 300 mm/m, almost made it through at 400 mm/m
