Latest version LightBurn Pro 2.0.03

Latest version LightBurn Pro 2.0.03 on Mac won’t allow me to connect to my laser Monport 100W fibre laser. I had to revert to the previous version

Same here with a Gweike G2 Pro 50W.

Interesting..

Which macOS version are you both using?

Could you install version 2.0.02 again, and let me know if you can connect again? That would be much appreciated!
Here’s a direct link to that version.

Reverting to 2.0.02 works.
Apple M2 / Version 15.6.1 Sequoia

Mac OS 15.6.1 (24G90) LightBurn 2.0.02 works

Thank you both for confirming.

I’ll have that looked into. I don’t yet have a Sequoia Mac.

@Eoin , @xspy , thank you again for reporting this.

It turns out, other macOS versions are also unable to connect in the 2.0.03 release.

See the explanation from OZ in another thread:

Until this, please use the newest Release Candidate of the 2.0.03, which still uses the older BSL Library:
https://release.lightburnsoftware.com/LightBurn/RC/LightBurn-v2.0.03-RC-4/LightBurn.V2.0.03-RC-4-0a9076b.dmg

It will install on your system as a separate “PreRelease” version of LightBurn, which has it’s own set of preferences. This means it will not affect your standard installation of LightBurn at all, but it will also not have any personal customizations applied as in your current installation.

The installer should automatically ask if you want to import a copy of your standard release version preferences - you can also use the User Bundles feature to move over your preferences at any time later, if you choose.

I have the same Problem with the same machine

Every Mac user will have the same problem with BSL devices on 2.0.03 until we get an update from BSL and can get a 2.0.04 version out.

2.0.02 and previous versions are not affected.
