I’m using LB with a MOPA Fiber laser and when trying to do a depth map LB crashes. It crashed so bad the first time (on 2.0.0 that I had to reboot the machine, opening LB again would go straight to crash). I updated to 2.0.01 and it would still crash when trying to start the laser process but wouldn’t force a machine reboot.
Welcome, and that is not what we all want. Thank you for reporting. Are you presented with a Crash Log? We would like to review that along with the file used when the crash happens. All this information should help us better understand what happened.
Is there a way I can send it privately? I’ll do it as soon as this run finishes
Yes, you can send to support@lightburnsoftware.com, and include a link to this post for context.
Before sending, I suggest you try the announced LightBurn 2.0.01 Patch Release first to confirm this has not been resolved.
I emailed my crash report. I am on 2.0.01
Thank you for confirming.
Same is occuring to me on MBP Max using a Commarker B4 60W. I’ve tried several depth maps they all crash when clicking Start
Hello Brandon
We are aware of this very specific to Mac issue and it was identified by the Dev team for a Fix.
The link above will take you to 1.7.08 installer so you can get your LightBurn to a working state.
Awesome, I had already rolled back. I’ll keep my eye on the 2x releases
