You should uncheck ‘use compression’ when you’re saving your AI files, and then you won’t have any issue.
Haha - yes, this is a common one caused by AI 2020’s new file format. We have a fix to be rolled out shortly, but in the meantime you can turn off the “Use Compression” flag, or save to legacy AI format.
