LB v2.O question

Hi all
I was looking for info on greyscale on SS using Fibre (for a forum member) and I came across v2.0. It mentioned something about “Power per Pixel”.
I thought this is interesting but dont know where to find any info…any pointers.

Also would it be recommended for a newbie to both lasers & LB…or better to stick with tried n tested for now?
