I just purchased a new Lasertree K30 to replace my worn out module. This one came with a whole new controller and an air assist pump.
I powered the pump manually and it works fine. However, I tested and the power is not being sent from the controller. Checking the console log I see that LB is in fact sending an M7 command.
I did get a message that GRBL does not support air assist. Is there a setting that I am missing? Or is this a GRBL issue?
If you’re not getting power to the module from the controller or from an external power supply, trace it back from there. To me, it appears like you are to plug the power supply into the laser directly not using the control board.
Does the new controller work with 24V@5A? That’s 120W needed to light it up… my dlc32 will only supply 50W at 24 volts or 25W at 12V.
