Lbart File Conversion

Wanting to access a specific art file and copy it so as to use it in Word or another program. ???

A LightBurn .lbart file is a proprietary binary file format used to store saved artwork collections in a compact, reusable library.

Vectors you cannot load into Word. Images can be pulled onto the Lightburn grid, then saved as image files. I have no image files in my art library, so I do not know if you can copy from the design grid and paste directly into a Word document.

You can get vectors by pulling it to the grid, and then using the Preview window. You can then save the image from there.

There is way of doing this but it’s a royal pain.

Print the art you want to a PDF [ File > Print (black only) or CTRL+P ] and make sure you select PDF as your printer.

Then open the PDF in Inkscape (Free Software) then export it to a JPG or one of the other files types Word accepts. I prefer EPS since it’s scalable.

Also if you wish, you can crop the image in Inkscape to remove all the white space around the art [ File > Document Properties > Resize to Content ]

If an image select it and Save Processed Bitmap.

If a vector select it, right-click and convert to bitmap first.
