I changed my lens, creating a new profile for it, and now the layers show up but do not work.
Is there a way to manage this?

Can you elaborate on this? In what way do they not work? What are you expecting and what happens instead?
What would management entail? Or do you mean you’re looking for a way to address the issue with the layers?
Yes, when I slide the switch to make the layer visible, nothing happens.
I have a fiber and three lenses. I’ve created a profile for each…
I have not noticed any anomalies in the layer operation.
We need more information, as @berainlb advised…
Ok… I found the issue. I had a 300mm X 300mm workspace. The new lens has a 110mm X 110mm workspace. The when I turned the layers on that were created in the larger workspace they were outside of the smaller workspace. Zooming out showed the issue. I centered the components on the 110mm X 110mm workspace and they are now visible.
The software uses the work area to determine the height above the object (focal length) in order to compute the actual surface speed.
I used this procedure successfully, twice for a new lens setup.
Good luck
