I have changed the lens a couple of times on my S30 pro.
However, today the whole unit has come out of the laser housing. The replaceable lens is badly marked due to an O-ring that burnt. I cannot separate the two brass housings to get to it now. The brass is a little scratched but all OK Any advice?

That lens assembly should normally be serviceable/replaceable, but if the O-ring has burnt it may have left residue on the threads or effectively glued the brass parts together.
I’d avoid forcing it with a screwdriver in one slot, as that can chew up the brass. If possible, grip the brass sections gently with rubber/soft-jaw grips and apply steady even torque. A little isopropyl alcohol around the joint may help loosen smoke/resin residue, but keep it away from the diode/module electronics.
If it still won’t separate, I’d stop before damaging the holder further and contact Sculpfun for the correct replacement lens/holder parts. This may simply be seized or heat/residue damaged.
