Library Tab for Lightburn 1.7.04

I dont have a “library” tab in the “window” dropdown of my lightburn, should I? At 4:56 of Lightburn Tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgno9W7PVs8 The speaker is using one for adjustments to speed/power on specific materials.

You should have two libraries: one for art and one for materials.

HTH.

I saw these. The Material Tab looks different on the tabs and is not populated with any thing-do we make them as we go, or are they downloadable?
This one one does not look like that and is not labeled that way. I am a newby and just trying to break into the industry after 40 years as an engineer.

Also thank you for any help I can get.

You should watch this video for a clearer explanation than I can provide. It’s from version 1.4, so it’s a bit older—I believe the “material library” was just renamed.

You should create libraries for specific laser types, as the settings for a diode laser can differ between a 5-watt and a 20-watt… as well as from those of a CO2 or a galvo laser.

Many people own multiple lasers and have a library tailored to each specific laser.
