I renewed a couple of weeks ago to include my new fibre along with my CO2 and diode went through fine to cover the 3 machines. Today I got a message that the key has now expired and would not receive updates. Any reason for this, can you reset it?

Adding capabilities to your existing license is independent of the expiry period for updates.
Purchasing the galvo license provided access to use galvo machines on your existing license with the existing license period and conditions. So if your license was set to expire today it would not have extended that.
You can renew your license to provide access to another year’s worth of updates. Or you could just continue to use the versions of the software you currently have access to in perpetuity.
