So I am an IT Tech for our school district. One of our schools just purchased an OMTech laser that came bundled with LightBurn. The issue we are running into is that I installed the license on the machine when I was logged in to the machine. Using the same computer I logged out and had the teacher log in. When they opened LightBurn, it asked for the license key again. Is there any way that the license can be used on the one computer but with different people logged in? If possible, the teacher would like to have students create their designs on one computer and then go log into the computer connected to the laser to engrave their work. How can we go about this?
Support@LightburnSoftware.com can help you with this. Include the link to this posting.
Thanks. After I posted this I thought that that may be a better route to go so I emailed support. For anyone that comes across this, support emailed back with this link. I have not done this yet but will do it later today.

Normally when you install a program you just click on it. Instead of just installing the program by clicking on it, Right Click and select install as administrator. Then make sure all user logins have administrator privledges
I think if you install it in the root folder instead of the Windows one, you will get the same result without 50 Admins, which is a really bad idea.. Warning: Advice from a Sort-Of Admin.
FTFY.
