License inquiry before PC format (Lost account password)

Hello LightBurn community,

I am about to format my PC due to some system issues, but before doing so, I want to make sure I don’t lose my LightBurn license.

Currently, my software is activated and working on this machine, but I have a problem: I lost the password to my official LightBurn account/portal and cannot log in to manage my activations.

Could you please guide me on how the process works in this case?

  1. Is my license key stored safely, or will formatting completely wipe it from the registry, requiring a manual deactivation first?
  2. How can I recover or update my credentials to ensure I can reactivate the software on this same PC once Windows is freshly reinstalled?

I want to avoid getting locked out of my license after the format. Any help or steps to safely migrate/backup my activation would be greatly appreciated.
