I am about to format my PC due to some system issues, but before doing so, I want to make sure I don’t lose my LightBurn license.
Currently, my software is activated and working on this machine, but I have a problem: I lost the password to my official LightBurn account/portal and cannot log in to manage my activations.
Could you please guide me on how the process works in this case?
- Is my license key stored safely, or will formatting completely wipe it from the registry, requiring a manual deactivation first?
- How can I recover or update my credentials to ensure I can reactivate the software on this same PC once Windows is freshly reinstalled?
I want to avoid getting locked out of my license after the format. Any help or steps to safely migrate/backup my activation would be greatly appreciated.
