"License is valid, but update period has expired"

I just bought a ComMarker B4 20W. I have a LightBurn Software - GCode License Key and paid to get the “Pro Upgrade”. I added my new license number and it thinks I’m in the trial version and wont upgrade. Does anyone have a step by step process for this? Very confused. Can someone help? Thanks

With licencing issues It is best to contact Lightburn direct

There may well be limited support at the weekend though

Why? As I know, an upgrade doesn´t alter the license number. The existing number stays as it is and the functionality is enhanced.

This may take some time (up to 24h). You can force it by deactivating and reactivating the existing number in Ligntburn. You also may check the licence portal (Link upper right))

Hello Bennie,

An upgrade from Core to Pro will not renew the license.

Renew and Upgrade are two operations.

So what might have happened is your license is expired still but now you can use Galvo/Co2 as it is a Pro.

@gilaraujo said it correctly. To be more exact, your License Version Upgrades has expired. You now have a Pro license at your current version level of Lightburn.
