Hello all! Recently upgraded to 1.7 which was working fine - today Windows 11 did an update and Lightburn would no longer start. Tried rebooting, reinstalling both Lightburn and redistributable stuff with no luck.

Downgraded to Lightburn 1.6 and all working again.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I’d suggest you try fully uninstalling LightBurn and any 14.x C++ redistributables. Then installing the latest LightBurn.

I’m having the same hang problem. Uninstall/reinstall of C++ and LB isn’t working.
It’s a 64-bit Windows 11 that just upgraded itself to 24H2.
I’m involuntarily offline until this problem is resolved.
Did you ever solve this? I am getting the same error now as well, and Lightburn crashes before a loading screen is even seen.

This was also after the latest Win 11 update.
Install/reinstall of C++ redistributable(s) did nothing, Uninstall/reinstall of LB also did nothing. Attempted a DiSM regresh/rebuild followed by an SFC /scannow, no corrupt system files. Please report back if you found a solution?
I’m encountering the exact same issue. Windows update - restart - Lightburn will no longer start.
