Recently upgraded to light burn 2.1. The camera calibration process will not complete in my setup. My camera has a view of the entire work area. When I begin the calibration process, I can capture an image from the rear left quadrant and the rear right quadrant with no problem. When I move the April tags to the front right quadrant, it doesn’t matter where I place them within the target area, the capture button remains grayed out and I cannot capture an image at that point, and obviously cannot go farther with the calibration process. I have tried moving the camera closer and farther away from the working bed, but it makes no difference. I can get two images but not three, four or five. Any ideas of what I can do to get thi{s fixed? Thanks!
I had issues with the new update and reloaded 2.00.5 which worked until now. The camera won’t calibrate and laser will not frame. I spent the past 5 hours trying to work it out but I give up for now.
Can you show a screen shot of what your screen looks like during that part of the process? (and what laser & what kind of camera are you using?)
When I did the process myself it was sensitive to focus, and brightness. I had one where the phone brightness was too high and wasn’t getting picked up well by the camera, and another where glare on my phone screen messed it up. Minor changes to the lighting and it went easily after that.
Thanks to everyone for their help and suggestions. In my case, it was a matter of lighting. After I turned off the overhead LED shop light, the calibration process worked perfectly. I guess the light was just washing out the April tags for a camera couldn’t find them. Easy enough for me, I still haven’t learned to try the obviously first. Best of luck to the rest of you are having problems with this!
