After having installed latest LB version 2. I find under camera control the live camera view is jumpy, In previous version live video stream was smooth and in real time. In this new version seems like camera stream/display is playing catch up and is jittery . Maybe video acceleration issue. Also is there a way to change colour scheme IE from black to white (old style)
Hello Andy
LightBurn 2.0 has a FPS limiter on Settings.
The default is 2.5 FPS
Go to Edit > Settings > Camera
You can set it as high as you want to have a smoother update.
Same Settings page - Display
Thank you. smooth as silk 25 fps did the trick … If i could be cheeky and ask a further question . I dont know if this can be done if not it maybe a consideration in an update. Reflecting to MS publisher when two items are aligned a line appears showing alignment this also happens when centering . I find my self having to draw a box align my objects to the box then delete the box.
Alignment guidelines are something that was discussed, but no official roadmap for that.
This said, LightBurn has Align / Distribute tools that should handle most cases natively
Adjusting the fps to 25 or even 60 did not fix the problem for me. I have reloaded v1.7 to see if it’s a version issue and it is. I can’t see there is any adjustment for fps in v1.7, but the display for framing has no delay. So unfortunately, v2 is a backward step in relation to seeing framing on the camera.
How do I get the developers to look at this?
