Light burn backup

Hi friends on LB form. I have been using this fantastic software for quite a few years now. Made a few adjustments and now feel very happy with the way things work. My only problem now is that I have reached the ripe old age of 86 and my memory is beginning to let me down. Can someone please tell me how to save all my settings to a memory stick so that should I run into trouble I can restore things to how they are now. Please help me if you can to continue enjoying this wonderful hobby.

File->Export Prefs will save all LightBurn specific configurations. They can be recovered with File->Import Prefs.

If you want to take backups of your machine settings then do that from Edit->Machine Settings.

Thanks for your help. My Son is a bit of a computer wizard, so will get him to follow your directions when he visits us this weekend. Many thanks

What @berainlb said… however I zip it, drag and drop it on my google drive… it hasn’t forgot anything yet…

Of course you don’t need to zip it up…

Considering how much I hurt at 70 (this year) don’t know if I can take the pain of 86

It might just 86 me…

:smile_cat:

Jack when you have had two heart attacks, a quadruple bypass, two mager ops on your aorta and emphysema which means I’m on oxygen 24/7, You kinda take getting old as something you just have to put up with. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: Thank God for Lasers and computers to give you some pleasure in whats left in life.
