Light burn can’t find my longer ray 5 20 watt laser engraver using Hp windows 11 laptop. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Also the screen on my laser has never turned on, This is a new laser I got in January of 26’. Long story short, i bought the extension kit and extension wires didn’t match the original wires am hoping I didn’t fry something. Originally put it together using extension kit .
This suggests a key switch is in the wrong position or the E-Stop button is depressed (twist to unlock).
The E switch works fine. Only the fan on laser head turns on .
- Does Windows make a tone when you plug or unplug the USB cable with the laser power on?
- What is displayed in the Console window?
It does not make any sound.
Did you install the CH340 driver? USB needs it to operate as a serial cable.
