Light burn detecting laser but not the right settings

So I got a new computer and I’m trying to setup Lightburn. When I go to detect my laser it detects a laser but the settings are wrong.

When I first set it up on my first computer it would detect my atomstack with a bed of 410*410.

On my new computer it detects my atomstack but as a Grbl with a bed of 10*10.

I thought it wouldn’t matter at first so I manually changed the bed size but all my settings I have dialed in are no longer working. The only thing different is the new computer as far as my setup goes

If you want to retain your settings for the device then export the device profile by going pushing “Devices” button in Laser window of your old computer. Then select the device profile, then export. Save to a file. Transfer that file to new computer and use importing using the same approach.

My old computer is currently 2 hours away, is there another solution? Could it be the usb cable or a missing driver that is causing the wrong default settings to be detected? The only driver I installed during the original setup is the ch340 driver.

Thanks in advanced!

Do a manual creation and specify the settings. Make sure you pick GRBL as the device type. Origin goes to front-left.

If you had any other configurations in Device Settings you’ll need to tweak those after the fact.

Thank you!
