I have the Xtool D1 Pro on Window 10. After the 1.3.01 update the “Home” button does not stop on the Y potion, it crashes at the top of the home potion, and it keeps ramming it for a long time.
The upgrade to 1.3.01 is almost certainly not related to the issue you’re seeing.
LightBurn has no awareness of the position of things on the laser. The controller discovers the home limit and reports this to LightBurn as an X,Y position. Homing by definition needs to collide with something to work. Typically this is a microswitch limit sensor. Some lasers use a sensorless homing mechanism that relies on back inductance to detect the “collision” stop. I was under the impression that the D1 Pro had physical limit switches but correct me if this is not the case. If your laser is ramming and not stopping that means there’s a failure of the limit mechanism. Check to make sure that the Y switch is able to be activated and that nothing is impeding the physical travel.
Mine was doing the same thing, and I found that the wiring on the right side was getting between the belt pulley and keeping it from getting to the rear limit switch. I haven’t found a good solution just yet, but I reposition the wire harness before I home and it seems to work properly. Will have to find a new routing solution.
