After the recent update with Lightburn I am able to frame my work, use focus but when I attempt to start the burn process it drops the burn approximately 1/4 inch below where it framed. This was never the case before the update. I have checked all my settings. Not sure what I am missing or why the update seems to have caused this issue.
It’s unlikely updating caused this sort of issue - do you have a Pointer Offset for your machine?
I checked the laser offset setup and that unfortunately was not the issue. This issue started after the recent update. I have been using Lightburn for over 4 years and have never had an issue until this recent update. This is why I am so confused.
Can you share what your start-from mode is, and perhaps your project?
What is the make/model of laser you are using?

Can I ask how your preview looks? I’m on an M4 Macbook Pro and have nothing but problems since upgrading to 2.1.04. I initially noticed the preview was pixelated, and was told to recalibrate, which hasn’t been successful. I’m also having the same issue you are, where the laser is off by a good 1/4 inch from where it should be.
What make and model of laser are you using? Could you attach a bundle so we can take a look, as per the prior post?
So my preview has been ok. Not had much issue there. What I did find out after talking to LightBurn Support is the issue I was having was caused with needing to update the machine using XCS. There was a new firmware update for the machine that occurred after the recent lightburn update or at the same time. Once I updated the firmware and rebooted my MacBook and the machine all has been good so far.
Not sure what “bundle” attachment you are speaking of. I corrected my issue by doing a recent firmware update needed for my machine and rebooting both the machine and computer. All seems to be working at the moment. I appreciate your input. Sorry for the delay been crazy here.
