When I installed Lightburn 2.1 I chose to install to a different directory, Which was on my D drive. The install noticed I had a previous version installed and I copied the settings over, The path was defaulted to C:\Program Files not the new directory I chose to install to.
It did not update your old shortcut. It likely created a new one, assuming you told it to. If not, just create the new shortcut and go on.
Correct, I was stating that the dialog box said It found previous settings in C:\Program Files when It’s not installed there. That path is hard coded in the dialog box
I did an uninstall, then it let me select the folder to install in. Now it defaults to my C:\Lightburn folder.
I avoid the Program Files folder due to permission issues.
I can’t duplicate that issue, Lightburn installed correctly, I was just stating that when It asked if I wanted the presets copied over, it wasn’t displaying the correct install paths for the previous install folder and the new install folder.
