so im upgrading to a monport GA100w laser from a xtool 20w laser because its too slow to do 1 side of a coin (3-4hrs) so this will be my first time using Lightburn. ive looked up tutorials but i cant seem to find any that use 100W can only find 30, 50 and 60 watt tutorials all with 100+mm lenses. does anyone have a setting i can use for my 100w mopa? ive also ordered a 70x70mm lens for fine detail engraving. thank you for the help!
As I have learned, when starting a new project with lasers and material. the key to settings are testing, testing testing.

In addition to what @ehendrix said: testing.
LightBurn has a built-in feature for generating test patterns. Use this to identify the best settings for your laser and material combination. It can be accessed here: ‘Laser Tools > Material Test’
Read more about how to use the Material Test tool here: Material Test - LightBurn Documentation
You can then store your settings in a Material Library for easy access in the future.
Review this page for more info on that: Material Library - LightBurn Documentation
