New update 0.9.21 disabled my mini gerbil on my k40, I re installed 0.9.20 and it works. So what could be the problem?

I can not confirm this, on my system with K40 and Mini-Gerbil on Linux Mint 20.1 everything works as it should, except the usb camera.
has anyone figured this out yet? I have 2 k40s both with mini gerbils and cannot connect to either of them
I’m just going to stick with 9.20 till they fix it, seems like other people are having issues with the update.
