Dear baricl1317Loren Baric, Dear berainlb
I might have reached to the solution,
It seems the gantry alignment was the fundamental cause,
After I found that the gantry was not exactly vertical to Y-axis, I adjusted it, but this alignment was quite sensitive and it seemed I further messed up the alignment as below:
So I caefully re-do this again, and made the gantry (X-axis) as vertical as possible to Y-Axis, and tighten the 5mm shaft (which connects the gear of left/right Y-axis)
Then the result came out like below:
*Left is after alignment and right is before alignment
To me, now it seems almost certain that this was the fundamental cause, as on initial assembly, I attached and tighten the shaft without any care, so the misalignment was there since then.
As the Atomstack A20 MAX has a wider working area of 850 x 400 mm, probably this machine has a more sensitive nature of aligning the frame and the gantry.
So if anyone facing the similar issue, the possible clue can be as below:
Of course, if it still doesn’t help, a lot of idea was provided in this thread, such as:
- Belt Tension
- Pourley tightness
- Software
- Backlash
Anyway, I will monitor the behavior of my machine further, and report again before this topic is closed, to confirm if the solution/assumption above is correct or not,
Loren, berainlb, Thank you very much for your patience and kind support, I couldn’t have made all these myself and I am very happy to be a part of this community, hopefully in the future, if anyone faces this same challenge it could be a help and you both made that which is greatly appreciated,
Best regards.
