Lightburn camera alignment and work origin

I just bought a Lightburn camera for my laser. I struggled through the lens calibration. When I start the camera alignment, and try to frame the workpiece, my machine heads to the top left corner and crashes if I don’t hit the stop button. I do not have homing switches. Is there a way to select the work origin for this process? My info is as follows:

AP Laser 1812 w Ruida controller
Lightburn 8MP 110 degree
Camera is mounted centered left to right over bed under the lid, and is square to bed. There is 21.5 inches between lens and bed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
