Lightburn Camera Focus

My 90 degree LB camera came in the mail this week and I’ve had mostly success in installing it. My image seems out of focus. Am I supposed to be able to manually focus the camera? I tried but it looks like the lens looks like it is molded to the body and I don’t want to break it. Any advice would be much appreciated:)

The cameras are manual focus, and have a small glue dot holding the threads on the lens which you can break by carefully twisting the lens while holding the base of the lens holder (not the board). This may help.

There should be a very small spot of hot glue on the lens threads, but it is focusable. I held the base of the sensor (not the board) and used enough force to separate it from the glue, and was able to do this without breaking it. It made me nervous though. When you say, “doesn’t obey the controls from the camera box” which ones are you referring to?

Thanks, Rick. The hot glue looked more like molded plastic, but there were some threads visible so I cut away the glue with an exacto knife and very carefully turned it using some pliers. It is pretty stiff but it does turn and the lens is now in focus.

Does the 140 have manual focus? I can’t seem to turn it.
