I bought a Lightburn camera a little while ago for a CO2 machine ive been rebuilding. After only a few small jobs and tests the camera seems to have gone milky/blurry. Cleaning the lens does not seem to have helped at all.
Is there something else I should have known, for example having the camera hidden from reflected laser light when the lid is closed?
No, I don’t think so. I’ve been using cameras for my laser machines since the beginning of my active laser time and “only” burned one. It was a head-mounted camera and it didn’t like the small explosions of rocks I’ve lasered, it also got milky on the outer (optical) lens, like yours.
By “standard” mounted I don’t mean that it’s a problem, we certainly don’t hear it here in the forum.
