Lightburn cannot find Fiber laser on macbook pro

I have a Macbook Pro using Sequoia 15.5, I downloaded the latest Lightburn and have a brand new Monport 60w GA MOPA fiber laser which uses the Galvo controller.

I have confirmed via my Macbook that it is indeed seeing the laser via the usb hub. When I open Lightburn, click on devices and ask the program to find my laser, a third of the progress bar fills and then I get an endless spinny color wheel. I have tried searching these forums and others for a solution but nothing is working that I have tried.

Has anyone overcome this issue? I see a lot of people reporting the issue but I really don’t see much in the way of people finding solutions. Just a bunch of abandoned conversations.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

First, try to add it manually. Automatic detection mostly fails. Just add the laser as described in the manual.
