LightBurn Can't Connect to Controller But NEJE Software works fine

Hi All,

New to LightBurn. I have a NEJE Master 2S Plus. Can anyone please help me with this? LightBurn Can’t Connect to Controller, but NEJE Software works fine.

I’ve tried the following:

  • Updated NEJE software
  • Tried reconnecting NEJE laser power & connections
  • Restarted my PC (Windows 10 64 bit)
  • Uninstalled & re-installed LightBurn

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you go through the process of configuring the device in LightBurn?

This is for the 2s (non plus) model but it looks like the only difference is the bed size. You should probably confirm that.

I’ve followed all steps recommended but I still can’t get LB to recognize my NEJE Master 2S Plus.

Can you document in as much detail as possible the following:

  1. What installation/setup steps you’ve taken so far?
  2. What happens when you turn on the laser? Do you hear noises?
  3. What do you mean by LB not recognizing the NEJE?
  4. If not covered in the reply to 1), how are you attempting to configure LightBurn? Please attach a screenshot of any error message or where you feel it’s not working
  5. Does the NEJE software that works run in Windows?
  6. Send a screenshot of Windows Device Manager showing all Port devices. Turn on View->Show Hidden Devices if nothing shows up.

if you update the firmware with the 3.7 uploader you need to use the 115,200bps settings !!!
with higher speed i cant connect to lightburn (i have the s2)
