The problem is that when creating an image it changes the height. For example I made a teste square that should have been 2X2. To get that finished deamination I had to set it to 2X6 and it created a 2X2 image. The computer is a ASUS laptop. Lightburn version Version 2.0.04. The operating system is windows 10. This is a new issue.
Does this mean that the machine has worked fine before?
Try to find an older copy of your settings and compare the settings for your axes.
Btw. LightBurn does not “change” your (machine) settings by itself.
The problem should be with the machine and not the software.
Try the following:
In the “Move” window, give the command for the laser head to move 2 cm (or inches if that’s the case) vertically (Y axis) and confirm if the head actually moved 2 cm or something else. Repeat the process horizontally (X axis).
If the movement does not match the command, the problem is with the machine.
Perhaps the Rotary Mode is inadvertently turned on:

That was the problem! Thank you so much.
An easy fix, once you know where to look! ![]()
Well believe me its nice to get a straight answer without the condescending attitudes. Thanks again.
