Lightburn compatibility with the new JCZ FB/SZLI-B-LV7A EXCAD2 board - rotary not working

Hi, Just got the new JCZ FB/SZLI-B-LV7A EZCAD 2 control board and i am not able to use the Rotary interface. using the pinout per the board documentation connecting pins 13gnd, 14xdir, 15xpul on CON4 to a DM542. when commanding a move there is no movement from the stepper motor. I did verify the stepper motor and DM542 are working with a UMC4 laser control, the only thing changed in the setup is the control wires from the DM542 to the LVA7 board. no errors reported at all and the JPT MOPA laser fires fine from lightburn in normal mode ie. not using the rotary. i have tried both versions of lightburn pro 2.1.00 and the pre release 2.100-RC-2. with the same results.

When looking at the signal with an oscilloscope, the signal coming from the LVA7 CON4 pin 15 i do not see a normal ttl pulse train like when the UMC4 is moving the axis. also the LVA7 when the axis is idle it is holding the xpul line high. it is low on the UMC4 when at idle.

I am thinking that the command to the LVA7 to move the rotary axis has changed from original EZcad2 would be my best guess.

Please let me know if any ideas and thank you in advance!!!

Just out of curiosity, does it have an A in a circle at the end of the part number?
