Before the latest update on Jan 17th I was able to operate my Longer Ray5 properly. After the update when I connect to the laser and try to move it, something locks up on the laser control panel and I am not able to move the laser using the control panel on the laser or using the Lightburn software on my computer.
Lightburn would have nothing to do with this. It appears you have a controller issue. Does the Console window show that the controller is connecting?
If you are talking about the consol window in Lightburn then yes it is showing that it is connecting.
Try this… Install the last previously working version. Confirm that it is still working as intended. Export a Bundle and save it. Then reload v2.0.05 and import the bundle.

Exactly which LightBurn version are you running?
2.0.05 or one of the release candidates?
I am running v2.0.05 but it turns out I turned on the DTR in Lightburn and that solved the problem.
