Lightburn crashes with no error messages when I try to calibrate my camera

I’m using V1.5.06 on the current build of Ubuntu with a generic USB webcam.

Lightburn seems to run without problems on its own. The USB camera runs OK on its own, but when I try to use the camera with Lightburn it crashes with no error messages whenever I select either of the menu options “Laser Tools > Calibrate Camera Lens”, or “Laser Tools > Calibrate Camera Alignment”.

Lightburn drops out and closes down back the desktop.

I don’t have another webcam try try it with so I don’t know if it runs with other camera.

If there is a way to retrieve any logs then I would appreciate some instructions on how to do so.

Any ideas?

I can’t update to a higher version of lightburn as I’m up to the limit that I can get without buying a new copy.
