LightBurn Default Cut Point


By default, which position A, B, C is the starting position for laser cutting.
A, on the line.
B, the left side of the line.
C, right side of the line

A - middle of the line.

Can I set it myself. I don’t find the option in the settings

you can use a positive or negative kerf offset to change where the laser cuts. That function is found in the cut settings editor.

No, I wouldn’t define it that way. Kerfsetting is used to compensate for the diameter of the laser beam. It is not used to move the laser head, but to adjust your design drawing/objects.
Try drawing two simple shapes that should fit together, give them an exaggerated amount of kerf and see how your preview window shows the effect, it works with plus and minus kerf.
