Lightburn doesn't connect to a TS2 Twotrees

I have a TS2 Twotrees Lightburn which does not connect via USB with Lightburn on my Desktop PC:
Processor Intel(R) Core™ i9-10980XE CPU @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz
Installed RAM 64.0 GB (63.7 GB usable)
Windows 11 Professional Version 23H2
Graphics card: RTX 3090

On the other hand, I can connect via USB, with the same cable, to the same TS2, Lightburn on my laptop:
Processor Intel(R) Core™ i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.20 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
Windows 11 Professional Edition
Version 23H2
Graphics card: Nvidia GTX 1060

I tried with different USB ports on my desktop PC, nothing works, no connection?

Both computers have the CH drivers?
Also i am assuimng you tried both frotn and back usb ports?

on the I9, when plugging USB, do you get any response from computer
right click Windows menu → Device manager
Plug usb and see if any device apears as driverless?

Check which Com port is active on the PC.

Best way is to Fire up The laser etc and with the PC off, connect to USB cable.

When you power up, windows should find new hardware or the Active port.

I have 4 spare ports and quite often, depending on what I am doing; The active port that Lightburn and the TS2 use are not always the same one…

Let us know what you port options are in lightburn.

You’re right

As Lightburn did not detect, or did not find my TS2 on my desktop PC (I9), I observed what was happening during the USB connection of the burner in the device manager, and I saw it appear in the COM and LTP ports, a new USB Serial CH340 in COM10.

Then, on Lightburn I selected the COM10 connection port, and miraculously it worked.

Many thanks for your help

Roger
