Lightburn doesn't connect to my diode laser

Lightburn doesn’t connect to my diode laser. Lightburn doesn’t see my laser macchine. The driver is updated.

Maybe something about win version…
But check if you are using a ferrite core cable. This cable helps a lot in communication.

If relevant to your connections, USB-C is also a known issue for coms.

I do hear the sound.

I use a USB A/B cable

I am using a ferrite core cable.

So your com port is definitly COM3

On lightburn, make sure you create your profile using GRBL (top one)
And in laser pannel you select COM3 as your port.

When you do this, what happens in console window?

Feels to me your COm3 is either the wrong device of has the wrong drivers

Right click on the COM3 → unisntall > unisntall softare checkbox

Then restart computer
Do not install new drivers, let windows 11 do its thing, see if it detects it on its own
if it does not send a new image of the updated device manager

Done! It detected it by its self.

Fixed the problem all toguehter?

Unfortunatelly, it didn’t fix the problem.

When this happens it is usually a communication problem, and the cause is usually a damaged connection cable. If you can, change the cable for another (with a ferrite core, of course)
