Lightburn doesnt find my laser

… so I had to choose everything manualy. First the laser worked, but doesnt leaved any traces. This problem was “fixed” by myself, I turned on “constant power mode” and switched the power from 20% to 100%.
After this I could laser like the freeware “LaserGRBL”, but with much better finishes. Now, 2 weeks later I would buy this software but the problem restarted again (“your laser may not support this power device, if it doesnt interupt laser between lines switch on GRBL M3” or something…), just like the power was on 20% and “constant power level” was off

What I do to fix it? Or can you improve your software for this laser pls? Its an AtomStack A10 pro, or better X7 pro. I mean its a payware and not a freeware, and the freeware recognize the right laser thats sad =(

So your AtomStack works with it or doesn’t work?

“can’t find your laser” and the laser working but not burning are 2 different things.

I’d recommend googling a video of how to setup and use the laser and Lightburn.

Your AtomStack device probably uses GRBL 1.1h and expects GRBL from LightBurn to control it. GRBL-M3 is for controlling GRBL 1.1e and earlier.

You can read more about it here:
https://lightburnsoftware.github.io/NewDocs/CommonGrblSetups.html

When you power up or first connect the engraver, a ‘welcome message’ will appear in the Console window in LightBurn. If you don’t see information similar to Grbl 1.1f 2018 etc. just copy and paste the message here and we’ll get you an answer.

The exact wording of the error message is puzzling. If you can screen-capture it and share it - the answer will likely arrive sooner.
