Lightburn doesn't see network shares

I recently installed Kubuntu 24.04 on my shop pc and then installed Lightburn. I’m also using Open Media Vault 7.1.1-1 for my network storage. Everything works fine except, I can’t open or save anything on my NAS. Lightburn’s File-open / File-save as dialogue box doesn’t even show the network shares, only local drives. All other applications on the shop pc show my NAS shares, and allow me to save and open files on the NAS. I’ve done a google search and fixed it before (I’m on my second linux distro.) For the life of me, I cannot remember how it was done or which search terms I used. Anything would be helpful.

Where do yo have the shares mounted? I have a similar setup here and don’t see any issues but I mount my shares in my home folder so they’re easier to get to. My setup is similar to yours albeit with KDE on Arch and Truenas vs Kubuntu and OMV.

Did anything change with your Open Media Vault installation or were the changes limited to Kubuntu?

What were you using prior to Kubuntu 24.04?

What types of shares have you configured from Open Media Vault?

Thanks for getting back with me, I really appreciate your help.
My Kubuntu pc can see every share I have on my network, including my Windows machines and one running Mint. All the apps on the Kubuntu pc (except Lightburn) can see all the available shares across my network. Lightburn doesn’t even know the network is there. I’m new to Linux and still trying to learn my way around. I’m not sure what you mean by mounting shares in my home folder. I want to learn how to this myself, but this has frustrated me. I design on one pc and burn on another. It’s not a big deal to save to a usb stick and walk it to my shop pc. It just bugs me.
Thanks again.

Kubuntu was a recent install and I haven’t changed anything on Open Media Vault. What’s frustrating is Lightburn is the “only” app that doesn’t see the network or any shared folders.

What types of shares have you setup on Open Media Vault? And have you done anything on the client side to make accommodate the shares?

Well, I played around with it last night and was able to get Tigers suggestion to work. I had to go the Linux Mint forum to find what i was looking for. Mounting network drive to local folder - Linux Mint Forums.
Thanks for the help and the kick in the pants I needed.
