Lightburn DXF import widths?

I’m trying to import a PCB from Altium as a DXF.

Polygons are represented as vector outlines, but traces are a line with a stroke width. Lightburn seems unable to recognize the width, it imports as a one-dimensional vector line.

I’ve been looking at Altium trying to see how to tell it to do vector outlines for traces, but I don’t see how.

Using DXF this way is recognized by seemingly every other tool except Lightburn.

Is there a fix for this?

Yes, but not in Lightburn. Not my expertise, but I think you have to go back into the CAD software and tell it to export the stroke as a width. Lightburn is a vector line app and the laser has a “stroke width” of the currently created kerf. And that varies with the laser beam and material being processed.
