Lightburn freezing when editing font

I did search but didn’t see exactly whats happening to me, so figured I’d ask.

I’m working on editing the font of a fairly long poem. Every time I try to change the font, lightburn freezes, says not responding and then just won’t do anything until I close it down and reopen it, or it will just shut down on it’s own. I never really have these issues, and rarely does it freeze on me. If I type the whole poem in myself it seems to be ok but if I copy and paste the text I cannot edit it without lightburn shutting down. If I have to type it it is not the biggest deal, but it’s long and I’m trying to save myself some time. I also want to know if there is a fix for this in the future. I don’t copy text and paste often, but want to know how to fix it if I need to. Thank you for any advice!!

From what program are you copying the text? It’s possible there are non-text components that are being copied along with the text that are causing LightBurn grief.

Perhaps try pasting into Notepad first, then recopying from Notepad as an intermediary before pasting into LightBurn. Does that change the behavior?

I can try that. It’s from a website, so I suppose there can be something embedded in the text. Worth a shot! Thank you!
