Lightburn not keeping inputs after close?

I not sure where to post this question, we are a makerspace, and we have 4 lasers in our space. They are all using Lightburn. The issue we are having is the Job Speed on all machine we set at 150 mm/s. However i will come into the space after a couple of days the Jog Speed is set to 500 mm/s. and when I look at my Scanning offset which I enabled and added is toggled off and my offsets are gone. its on all three of our thunder machines..
any idea how this is happening? how do i stop this from happening?

IF it won’t create other problems, correct then save and change password on controller, and if they still change settings just reload preferences file from the date you corrected settings.

The Ruida isn’t going to change it’s configuration by itself. Someone pressed speed on the controllers console and changed it.

I don’t know of any way to lock the console, the user needs it.

:smiley_cat:

After more testing, it’s not the controller the issue seems to be with lightburn, I put my settings in expert, so I wouldn’t have to keep. Ran my job closed light burned down and as soon as I opened it back up, and all the settings were gone and use offset was turned off

Are you Opening File or Importing File, Open will bring in setting used when file was saved, Import will use default or current settings.

I’m enabling scanning offers and inputting the each of the speeds 200 up to 1000 mm/sec.

The issue is when I close lightburn, and open it back up all my scanning offset are gone and my scanning offsets is disabled.

What version of LightBurn are you currently using? I just enabled a scanning offset adjustment on a ruida device profile, hit ok to save the setting, closed LightBurn, reopened, and the adjustment is still there. Do you have multiple device profiles?

You can migrate settings using the bundle feature in versions 1.6+:

No similar problems here with my Ruida clone on RC8.
