Hi everyone im looking for some help when i download a template to cut on my laser it is cutting the template out much smaller than the original file is there a easy way to resized it thanks in advance.
- Select shape/design to be resized
- Use one of the following techniques to resize the design
2a. Numeric Edits Toolbar. Either directly entering width/height or using percentage.
2b. resize handles on the design
Hi yes I know how to do that thanks but the original template I downloaded was actul size and when i sent it to lightburn it was a lot smaller just wondering had i imported/ sent it wrongly.
What was the format and source of the original file?
Do you know precisely the difference in dimensions between the original and what LightBurn is showing?
This is the file template i downloaded not sure of the original size that’s why i can’t adjust it in lightburn but when I cut it out it was much smaller
Under Edit → Settings → File Settings, make sure the SVG import DPI matches whatever the template uses.
If it’s set to 96 and the template used 72, then you’ll cut something 3/4 the size you expect.
Yes it seemed just around that size about 3/4 smaller ill give it a try again tomorrow thanks again for all your help
