In the process of setting up my rotary axis. Light burn is back spinning the glass jar so fast that it spins it off sometimes.
Anyway to slow this down?
What type of controller/firmware is your laser using? You will most likely need to adjust the speed/acceleration settings in your laser’s firmware, and the specifics of how to do that will depend on its controller/firmware
@Albroswift those options are only available when using a rotary with a Galvo laser.

The gui for a grbl machine doesn’t have these limits.
You have to change the acceleration values from within Edit → Machine Settings.
Assuming the Y axes –
Don’t follow these values, they are from a threaded shaft type. However, it needs to be lowered.
