Hi I’m fairly new to laser engraving. I can do some thing on light burn. I have a creality falcon 2 22W laser and it was plug and play I used it last in December did not used it over the holidays until last week and everything went down hill from there. It seems that all my setting are differnt. I tried using my old setting I have used in the past and now they are burning through the leatherette. Or it’s burning to deep and not looking right. I’m not sure where to start looking can anyone help
You did not give us much to work with, but a common area of issues is when dealing in inches versus millimeters. Diode lasers are usually working in mm/m, not in/s.
You might also check that the settings are set for the lasers. In the console type $$ and check that the $30=1000 and the $32=1. If not your burns will be way off.
