Good Afternoon, ran into a issue and trying to isolate it down. I have been using lightburn now for 3 years, not to many issues, forums always helpful, but here is where my issue start. Information - have 3 computers with licensed lightburn. Two of the computers have run my three xtool d1 pro and non pro machines just fine. I used the third one mainly for design and graphics work, then store the data in lightburn, switch rooms and then use the other computers to operate the lasers. So what has changed, I moved rooms around in house, and now the design computer is being hooked up to run lightburn and operate the lasers. I have had nothing but issues with it, even having to resort to using XCS to try and troubleshoot. So bright idea lets test the cables on the other computers make sure it all works as intended. Guess what, runs like a champ no issues. So went through verified settings, removed and installed dev file, verified firmware, and no matter what i do the best i get is frame a little box which is NO WHERE its intended location. So checked consol, no strange characters, the numbers match what is on other computer as i did a line by line verification. I ensured the drivers for the CH340 are installed as well. Has anyone ever had issue where the I can install lightburn, hook up a laser, verify connection, but after that you can not do much of anything. It is acting like I am missing something vital that is easy to forget. So checked my list - Software registered, connections tight on laser, hardware is working as intended on laser, verifyed ports, tested home settings and all software settings. Did this on older computer (older meaning the computer that used to manage the lasers) and just ran 2 tests perfectly. Thoughts? Suggestions? I know sometimes people request screen shots, if you think it would help i can, but wanted to see if there is something else i might be missing. As far as this is a troubleshooting a laser using lightburn, I hope this post is okay as it works on 2 other computers, just not my main computer…
Thanks!
